Morning vs afternoon
Mornings, especially the first two hours after 8:00 a.m. opening, are consistently the calmest window. Crowds build through late morning and stay heavy into early afternoon, easing off again in the last hour or two before closing.
High season vs low season
April–June and September–October are the busiest months, driven by mild weather and school groups. July and August are hot but not necessarily quieter, since they're peak international travel months. Christmas week and the days around Easter bring some of the heaviest crowds of the year. January, February and November are consistently the quietest stretch.
